Threshold-Enhanced PROMETHEE Group Decision Support under Uncertainties

چکیده

As threshold determination is arduous when using PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluations) to make decisions, this study proposes a comprehensive PROMETHEE-based group decision support covering the uncertainties of determination, risk preferences, and evaluation itself. To reduce difficulty on it explicitly offers statistical aggregation individuals’ indifference preference thresholds so as obtain benefits from multiple sources knowledge experience. Three typical combinations are characterized that reflect conservative, balanced, aggressive preferences. We also derive 6 properties illustrate effects changes changes. Despite variances among individual rankings alternatives, rank differences within decisions do converge by illustrative example. A larger interval conservative generates more diverse ranks versus other two Moreover, III has power managing inaccurate measurement. The introduction S-shaped functions benefit fitting behavioral making under uncertainty. Integrating these approaches together support, our proposal less affected variance coherent with traditional differentiated power.

A Semantic Enhanced Framework for Argumentation Based Group Decision Support

By an effective Group Decision Support System (GDSS) group members can be supported to identify the problem, form possible actions, resolve the conflict and achieve the joint goals. Throughout such a group decision making process, argumentation is widely regarded as a good means to propose the ideas, justify possible alternatives and convince others to achieve group consensus. In this paper, ar...

Decision support under uncertainties based on robust Bayesian networks in reverse logistics management

One of the major challenges for product lifecycle management systems is the lack of integrated decision support tools to help decision-making with available information in collaborative enterprise networks. Uncertainties are inherent in such networks due to lack of perfect knowledge or conflicting information. In this paper, a robust decision support approach based on imprecise probabilities is...

Clinical Decision Support Systems: A Review on Knowledge Representation and Inference Under Uncertainties

This paper provides a literature review in clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) with a focus on the way knowledge bases are constructed, and how inference mechanisms and group decision making methods are used in CDSSs. Particular attention is paid to the uncertainty handling capability of the commonly used knowledge representation and inference schemes. The definition of what constitute go...

Group Decision Making under Vagueness

We report results of an experiment in which participants provided certainty equivalents for 15 risky or vague (with imprecise probabilities) two-outcome gambles. Participants made their decisions in three different settings: a) individually without prior social interactions, b) individually after discussing decisions with other participants and c) in groups of three. We also manipulated the deg...

Group Decision Making Under Stress

Understanding the processes by which task groups function is a major concern of social psychologists who study small groups. Equally important to the applied group researcher is the understanding of how group processes are altered by the external environment. Research suggests that organizations respond to stress with a centralization of authority so that decision making becomes concentrated in...
